handcuffedA Filipino-American who is wanted for child pornography in Nevada, United States was arrested by the police in Pampanga the other day after two years of hiding.

Manila Police District director Chief Supt. Vicente Danao Jr. identified the suspect as Joel Pasay, 56, married, temporarily residing at Deca Homes Clark, Angeles City, Pampanga.

Danao said that a joint operation was conducted by the MPD, Bureau of Immigration, and US Department Homeland Security through an arrest warrant from the US which led to the arrest of Pasay in his residence at around 1:30 p.m.

On Oct. 29, 2018, the BI issued a deportation order against Pasay after the US Department of Homeland Security learned that he was residing in the Philippines.

However, when the police arrived in the area, the BI informant said that Pasay was nowhere to be found and went to Angeles City.

Pasay was charged with violation of Receipt of Child Pornography Title 18 United States Code 2252A(a)(2) issued by United States District Court for the District of Nevada on May 2, 2017.
