MALACANANG suspended government work starting at 12 noon today, Holy Wednesday, to allow employees to go home to their provinces to spend the rest of the Holy Week.
Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea issued Memorandum Circular 60 earlier on Wednesday.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness or response to disasters and calamities, or the performance of other vital services are not covered by the suspension.
The suspension of work in private companies and offices is the prerogative of their employers.
