MANILA, Philippines — The state weather bureau is seeing cloudy skies prevailing over the country on election day, May 13.

In the weather outlook issued on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the approaching low pressure area toward election day will prevail over Visayas and Mindanao.

Pagasa said that on Saturday, the whole country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers and thunderstorms, mostly in the afternoon or evening and particularly over the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

Meanwhile, on the eve of the elections on Sunday (May 12) and on election day Monday (May 13), Visayas and Mindanao will be affected by the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
