Poe thanks mom Susan Roces for her ‘unconditional’ love

MANILA, Philippines — A day ahead Mother’s Day, Sen. Grace Poe thanked her mother, veteran actress Susan Roces, for her “unconditional” love.
“Mom, thank you for the sleepless nights, the band-aids, the nourishing meals, the shoulder to lean on,” she said on Saturday. “You have shown me that the love of a mother — biological, foster or adoptive — is unconditional and beyond measure.”
Poe reminded everyone to appreciate and love their mothers — not only on Mother’s Day.
“Today and everyday, let us give our mothers — the extraordinary women in our lives — the love and appreciation they deserve,” she said. “Let us shower them with gratitude for everything they have done at home, in the workplace and in communities.”
