Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Commissioner Willie Marcial said that 31-year-old Paolo Felizarta of Imus, Cavite, who, dressed as Spiderman, disrupted Game 5 of the best-of-seven finals between San Miguel Beer and Magnolia on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum, will be charged with alarm and scandal, grave scandal and unjust vexation.

Felizarta rushed into the court carrying a placard with “vote love” written on it. SMB’s June Mar Fajardo was hit in the jaw in the ensuing commotion.

Marcial said Felizarta was brought to Police Station 7 after the incident.

Fajardo said he was not hurt seriously and has already forgiven Felizarta.

“Walang problema pero mali ‘yung way ng pag-send niya ng message. At sana natuto siya, nakuyog tuloy siya so I hope okay siya (No problem. But he sent his message the wrong way. I hope he learned his lesson. He got mobbed. I hope he’s fine),” Fajardo told reporters.

“Nagulat ako hindi ko rin nakita ‘yung tao at medyo nahilo rin ako (I was caught off-guard and I didn’t see the guy. I was a bit dizzy.”

Fajardo, who won his eighth overall Best Player of the Conference plum on Wednesday, hopes that the incident will serve as a reminder to hoops fans.

“Sa mga fans, ‘wag sanang tularan ang ganoon. Lahat naman kami naglalaro lang dito. At the end of the day, ginagawa lang namin trabaho namin. (I hope the fans would not copy what he did. All of us are just playing here. At the end of the day, we are just doing our job),” said Fajardo.
