Pimentel climbs to 10th spot in PPCRV unofficial tally

REELECTIONIST Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel 3rd dislodged former colleague Ramon “Bong” Revilla Jr from 10th place in the senatorial race, based on the partial and unofficial count of the Parish Pastoral Council of Responsible Voting (PPCRV) on Sunday.

As of 3:09 p.m., Pimentel garnered 14,548,465 votes against Revilla’s 14,546,314.

Meanwhile, another reelectionist, Cynthia Villar, maintained the top post with 25,116,310 votes, followed by Grace Poe with 25,116,310 votes.

Former presidential aide Christopher “Bong” Go has 20,453,347 votes, for third, while former senator Pilar Juliana “Pia” Cayetano is in fourth place with 19,632,440 votes.

Former Philippine National Police (PNP) and Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa remained in the top five with 18,802,305 votes.

Also in the “Magic 12” are:

  • Juan Edgardo “Sonny” Angara: 18,041,634 votes(6th)
  • Lito Lapid: 16,880,206 votes(7th)
  • Imee Marcos: 15,729,192 votes(8th)
  • Francis Tolentino: 15,368,023 votes(9th)
  • Nancy Binay: 14,448,498 votes(12th)

Reelectionist senators Joseph Victor “JV” Ejercito (14,224,622 votes) and Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino 4th (14,080,499 votes) are ranked 13th and 14th.

In the partylist race, ACT-CIS maintained its lead, with 2,609,055 votes, followed by Bayan Muna with 1,108,995 votes, then Ako Bicol with 1,046,349 votes.

The count was based from 86,319 clustered precincts for the senatorial race and 86,320 clustered precincts for the partylist race. ARIC JOHN SY CUA
