SMARTPHONE brand OPPO launched its new flagship product series Reno, which features the OPPO Reno and OPPO Reno 10x Zoom models, in Makati City on Wednesday.

During the launch, OPPO Philippines Vice President for Marketing Jane Wan said the new smartphones aimed to help content creators maximize and execute their creative visual outputs with the camera’s improved features.

According to her, it was important to innovate product offerings amid the fast-changing smartphone landscape, and developing new smartphone features would help the company stay at the forefront.

The OPPO Reno 10x Zoom is equipped with full-focal-length triple camera system, made up of a 48-megapixel main camera, and 8MP wide-angle and 13MP telephoto cameras.

“We can help you see beyond your eyes’ limits,” Wan said.

“The Reno 10x Zoom also features the much-talked about 10x hybrid zoom and 60x digital zoom — the first of its kind in the smartphone industry, allowing users to bridge any gap that limits their creativity,” Oppo said in a separate statement.

The said model also has Audio 3D and Audio Zoom “to capture rich and true-to-life audio output,” it added.

OPPO Reno, meanwhile, has a 48MP camera with 5MP phase detection autofocus capability.

Describing the smartphone series as “groundbreaking,” Wan said both units are also equipped with Ultra Night Mode 2.0, color mapping, 4K video and Dolby Atmos speakers.

OPPO product expert Daniel Lardizabal said these features would “revolutionize” the smartphone industry, noting that such product is now not only used for communicating, but also for content creation.

The new models, he added, showed “creativity and technology combined” in one product to enhance user experience.
