1-kg package of cocaine found in Camarines Sur

MANILA, Philippines — A barangay chairman in San Jose town in Camarines found a package of cocaine weighing 1 kilogram on Tuesday afternoon.
In a report from the Bicol Police Regional Office on Wednesday, Barangay Chairman Marcelino Paa Jr. told police that he discovered a pack of cocaine in Barangay Boclod at around 2 p.m.
Paa turned the package to the San Jose Municipal Police Station.
The provincial Crime Laboratory confirmed that the substance was cocaine weighing a total of 1 kilogram.
