IMUS, Cavite – A total of 119 marijuana bricks, weighing 120 kilos and worth P2.4-million, were seized from four jobless suspects, including a woman, following their arrest Tuesday afternoon in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Salitran III, Dasmariñas City, the Cavite Police Provincial Office (PPO) reported yesterday.

It was one of the biggest marijuana hauls in Dasmariñas. At least 47 marijuana bricks have been confiscated from other suspects during a police operation, also in Barangay Salitran III, four months ago.

A report released by the Cavite PPO identified those arrested as Albert Gabiera Abogadie, alias “Abet,” 28, Don Pimentel Ragracias, 35, Mary Rose Mones De la Peñas, 27, all residents of Summerwind, Salitran III, and Raymond Timbang Austria, 20, of Barangay Salitran I.

The arrest was made by a local police team after the suspects reportedly handed a sachet containing marijuana, in exchange for P200, to a poseur-buyer.

The 119 marijuana bricks were reportedly found by the team from the suspects during the search.

Aside from the marijuana bricks, the team also confiscated from the suspects one marijuana roll, three sachets containing marijuana and a maroon Nissan Urvan with license plate NOH-767. (Anthony Giron)
