The Manila Police District (MPD) has already identified the five persons of interest in last week’s robbery at a bank in Binondo, Manila.

Police identified the suspects as Gilcar Mofan, Noli Casuela, Marlon Parojinog, Michael Calunod and Frederex Secretario.

MPD chief Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao said the group’s leader, Marlon ”Ailon” Parojinog, is related to the Parojinogs of Ozamiz City.

The leader of the group Ailon Parojinog and Jing Mofan have standing warrants of arrest for murder.

During a press conference at the Manila City Hall on Monday, Danao showed still photos from CCTV inside bank.

Danao said the copy of the CCTV were not taken by the robbers.

Manila Mayor Francisco Isko Moreno Domagoso said the bank was “unwilling to cooperate” with the police.

Domagaso also appealed to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) to look into bank’s security protocol after it refused to immediately allow law enforcers.

“We call the attention of BSP kasi sila ginamit na dahilan kung bakit ‘yung SOCO (Scene of the Crime Operatives) natengga at ‘yung chief ng MPD (Manila Police District). He is there already for 45 minutes,” the mayor said.

Domagoso also reiterated the P1 million reward that they will give to anyone who can provide information on the whereabouts of the suspects in the bank heist last July 11. (Erma Edera)
