Gerald Anderson breaks silence over ‘ghosting’

GERALD Anderson has had enough.
The beleaguered actor, accused of supposedly “ghosting” ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo going on to hook up with Julia Barretto, finally broke his silence over the matter in an interview with ABS-CBN News, Monday.
According to the actor, the alleged “ghosting” was him simply trying to avoid the actress following a big fight, which he claimed was just one of many.
He said, “Siguro ang nangyari, just like in any relationship, we had (a) small…let’s say we had that fight, fight after fight… (then) we had that one big fight.
“Dun niya (Bea) inilabas lahat ng emotions, lahat ng feelings… and then (came) ‘yung realization na hindi na siya (the relationship) masyadong healthy and we’re just hurting each other.
“Ayaw mo na talaga.
“And after that, you got to stay strong and disciplined para umiwas muna sa communication.”
He then cleared Julia of any involvement in the muddle.
The 30-year-old actor maintained, “Walang ibang tao na naging dahilan ng breakup. Para sa akin, it’s always been our personal issues, things that we… things inside our relationship.”
Bea is yet to respond to her ex-beau’s assertion.
Last July 25, the actress told media she and Gerald didn’t have a formal breakup, insinuating the actor simply left her in the lurch.
The statement came following talk of Julia and Gerald supposedly already making sweet music.
The ruckus started on social media with some photos showing the two in various locations appearing one after the other.
With Julia breaking up with boyfriend Joshua Garcia only weeks prior, wags were quick to put two and two together concluding the rumor was true as gospel, with not a few overzealous ones hurling harsh, ugly words towards Gerald, Julia as with her family. (RAMPADOR ALINDOG)
