Makeover: A new look for a frequent flyer

Sarka Lisonkova is a medical researcher. She travels a lot for work and has had a tough time finding a regular hairstylist to take care of her hair.
Sarka has medium textured and naturally curly hair. It’s been feeling very dry and damaged, due to over processing, and her length was unmanageable and needed reshaping.
Her hair was previously coloured and needed a little TLC, so I placed foils highlights throughout her hair in a starburst placement to brighten it up without making her too blond. We applied a medium cool-brown background foundation colour at her root area to create some depth while trying to slightly lighten her natural colour.
We shampooed her hair using KMS Color Vitality Blonde — Shampoo and Conditioner, to enhance blond tones and reduce yellowing. I sectioned her hair into a central vertical parting and cut her hair into a chin-length bob. I shortened her layers and incorporated a fuller fringe to frame her striking blue eyes and create a more sophisticated look.
Before styling, we applied KMS Moist Repair — Revival Cream as a leave-in conditioner to her mid-lengths and ends. We applied KMS Add Volume — Styling Foam throughout her hair for long lasting body and style, then blow dried her hair with a little bend on the ends. To finish the look we sprayed KMS Hair Play — Dry Wax for dimensional texture.
To create this look and play up Sarka’s eyes, I started by applying a cream eyeshadow stick in a golden brown shade onto her entire eye lid. I then smudged a warm-brown eyeshadow along the upper and lower lash line to enhance her blue eyes and to create a subtle smouldered effect. I went with a nude-peach blush and a nude lip gloss to tie the look together.
