Grab resumes services in Navotas

Residents of Navotas City can book Grab rides and food delivery services again after the ride-hailing company restored it’s service in the city.
Navotas City Mayor Tobias “Toby” Tiangco held a meeting with Grab officials on August 1 following several weeks of the city’s exclusion from its services.
“Makakapagbook na po ulit tayo ng GrabCar mula o patungo sa Navotas. Ito ay matapos nating makipag-meeting sa Grab noong August 1 para matugunan ang inyong mga hinaing,” Tiangco said in a Facebook post on Saturday, August 17.
“Paki-update o reinstall ng GrabApp para po makapagbook na kayo,” he added.
On Monday, Tiangco announced that Grab’s food delivery services have also been restored in the Navotas despite his initial announcement that it would take up to a month before the service returns.
“Good news po ulit! Nakatanggap po tayo ng update mula sa Grab. Hindi na raw po masususpinde ang GrabFood service sa ating lungsod,” he said. (Minka Tiangco)
