In this new six-part webcast series for Canadian Immigrant, speaker and executive and career coach Miro Reljic offers coaching tips to help immigrants like him navigate change as they strive for professional success in Canada.

In Part 5, he discusses why networking is important and how to network.

Who is Reljic? He is founder of Reljic Coached in Calgary, Alberta, and an RBC Top 25 Canadian Immigrant (2017). He arrived in Canada as a Serbian refugee from war-torn Croatia in 1999, barely able to speak English. With his will and determination, Reljic became a self-made entrepreneurial success, first graduating from the University of Calgary and then the University of Cambridge (Diploma in Coaching), before working and consulting for top-five Canadian oil and banking companies as a business analyst.

Since 2013, Reljic has volunteered with thousands of newcomers and immigrants in Canada through various agencies because he believes in giving back to the country that has given him the opportunity to realize his dreams.

This video series is just one more way he is able share the lessons he’s learned about adapting to a new country.
