VANCOUVER, B.C.: Thursday, Sept. 12.  Up to five millimetres of rain is expected throughout the day, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada, with a high of 19 C. Overnight it looks like some heavier rain, with up to 20 millimetres expected before tapering off around midnight. Then Friday is forecast to be mainly cloudy with a good chance of showers in the morning and afternoon, and a high of 18 C. Looking ahead, it looks like a soggy weekend for Metro Vancouver. Expect a rainy Saturday with a high of 18 C. The rain should continue overnight, with a low of 13 C and then Sunday looks  like scattered showers and a high of 15 C.

Today: Periods of rain. Amount 5 mm. High 19 C. UV index 2 or low.

Tonight: Periods of rain ending near midnight then partly cloudy. Amount 10 to 20 mm. Low 14 C.

Tomorrow: Cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon. Showers beginning late in the afternoon. High 18 C. UV index 3 or moderate.
