Rapper Loonie, 4 others arrested in drug sting in Makati

FLIPTOP rapper Loonie, Marlon Peroramas in real life, and four others were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation Makati City on Wednesday night.

Police identified the other suspects as David Rizon, Ivan Agustin, Albert Alvarez, and Idyll Liza Peroramas, Loonie’s sister.

The transaction happened at the basement parking of Herald Suites Hotel in Barangay Poblacion at about 8:45 p.m.

Seized from the suspects were sachets of dried leaves, suspected to be Marijuana, a cellphone, and the buy-bust money.

The suspects will be charged with violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. JAN ARCILLA
