The Palace official also commended Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso “who was among the first to rush and inspect the crash site.”

Domagoso has ordered the city engineering to determine the liability of Sogo hotel.

The Sogo Hotel in Malate collapsed at 9:30 a.m. on Monday. At the time of the accident, the demolition of the building was being supervised by Fabellon Construction.

Dead on the spot were construction workers Melo Ison and Jeremie Fabello.

Another construction worker, Edson Ison, was injured from the incident but was in stable condition, according to Domagoso.
