4 suspects arrested, P700,000 ‘shabu’ seized in Taguig buy bust

FOUR suspects were arrested and an estimated P700, 000 worth of “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) were seized in a buy bust in Taguig City on Friday night, police said.

The suspects were identified as Teresita Albaniel, Alvin Lucio, Franklin Desvarro, and Aldrin Ilagan who were caught at Elephant St. in Barangay Ususan at 8 p.m.

Confiscated were 19 plastic sachets containing shabu of about 105 grams worth P714,000.

Violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be charged against the suspects. JAN ARCILLA
