Peralta vows to unclog court dockets

Chief Justice Diosdado Peralta on Monday pledged to work to unclog court dockets.
After attending his first flag ceremony chief magistrate, Peralta laid out a 10-point program that he said would guide the judiciary to reach greater heights.
On top of the program is the elimination of backlogs of cases in the Supreme Court and all other
courts.
“My judicial philosophy has always been to start from home and lead by example,” he said.
To ease the backlog of cases, all clerks if court would be required to conduct periodic inventory of cases and consult with the Court en banc on how to solve the issue and other concerns.
Peralta also sought the support of personnel in the judiciary, saying that he could not implement changes all
