Police identify body found in Chilliwack's Cultus Lake area

Homicide investigators have identified the body found on Friday morning near Sleepy Hollow Road in Chilliwack as that of Jordan Smyth.
Smyth, 26, was known to police, who believe he was targeted for murder. Police say Smyth was found wearing a black zippered hoodie, grey sweat pants and light-coloured running shoes.
Sgt. Frank Jang of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team, which has taken over the investigation, is asking anyone with information to contact IHIT at 1-877-551-IHIT or email IHITinfo@rcmp-grc.gc.ca.
“There are many aspects of this investigation that still remain a mystery, including the motive behind the homicide,” he said.
