Comic and toy shows lightens up Vancouver

Over 1,000 people, aged eight to 80, showed up for this fall’s Vancouver Comic & Toy Show at the PNE.

Organizer Evan Christensen said the event had grown from a small number of tables at the Croatian Cultural Centre in 2014, to 225 eight-foot tables with 125 exhibitors in 2019.

He said this year’s event featured film industry artists selling autographed prints, as well as the usual comic and cartoon character figures loved by young and old.

Christensen said another event was planned for the PNE on March 1, 2020.
