Investigation underway after fatal shooting of man in northwestern B.C.

HOUSTON — RCMP in northwestern B.C. are investigating a homicide.
RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says a man was shot to death Sunday at a home in Houston.
She says officers responded but the adult victim was dead by the time they arrived.
Investigators say they believe the shooting is an isolated incident.
Police say there is no information to suggest the public is at risk.
Saunderson says police are appealing for information or witnesses.
