CDO food firm head, co-founder Jose Ong passes away

CDO Foodsphere Inc. chairman and co-founder Jose “Pepe” Ong passed away on Thursday. He was 78.

“It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved chairman and co-founder Jose J. Ong this morning, November 14, 2019,” CDO Foodsphere said in a statement.

Ong established the CDO brand with his wife Corazon Dayro-Ong, who is a dietician. Among its products are hotdogs, ham, bacon, patties and corned beef. TYRONE JASPER PIAD
