5.9 quake shakes Mindanao

A magnitude 5.9 earthquake rocked some parts of Mindanao on Monday night, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.

The epicenter of the quake was 6 kilometers northwest of Kadingilan, Bukidnon.

The tectonic earthquake had a depth of 10 kilometers.

Intensity 5 was felt in Kidapawan City, while Intensity 4 was recorded in Davao City and in Cotabato City. FRANZ EMBUDO
