Masked robber rapes woman, flees with P2 million loot in Parañaque City

A masked robber raped a 19-year-old woman inside a house at an exclusive subdivision in Parañaque City and made off with more than P2 million worth of valuables on Thursday morning, police reported Friday.

Police Corporal Mary Ellen Ramos, case investigator, said the burglar managed to enter the house by destroying the padlock of the gate around 2:30 a.m. in Barangay Don Bosco.

She described the burglar as a medium-built man, wearing a full-faced mask, clad in sweat shirt, and pants.

“The burglar arrived in front of the house aboard a motorcycle. He destroyed the padlock of the gate, but we are still not sure what he used,” she said, citing a closed-circuit television camera footage outside the house.

Then, he used a tree branch to pick the keys placed near the window of the house.

Ramos said the siblings, aged 19 and 21, were inside their respective rooms on the second floor of the house.

The robber first went to the room of the 21-year-old victim and hogtied him. After that, he took his belongings and went to the room of the 19-year-old girl.

The woman was awakened when the burglar started touching her body.

The victim claimed she tried to fight the suspect off, but he threatened to kill her once she resists his sexual advances. The victim said the suspect had a gun.
