John Derick Farr duplicated Lea Denise Belgira feat in the women’s downhill mountain bike competition, snaring the gold in the men’s event in the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Farr, a veteran in downhill competition, clocked 2:41.143 while fellow Eleazar Barba Jr. got silver, 2:42.503. Andy Prayoga of Indonesia landed on the third place with 2:47.868 for the bronze.
Belgira was the first to win the cycling gold, clocking 3:09.781, followed by Indonesia’s Prastika Tiara and Deekaballes Vipavee of Thailand.
