Four men have been sent to hospital with stab wounds following a messy fight in downtown Vancouver’s Yaletown district on Sunday morning.

Const. Tania Visintin said Vancouver police were called around 2:30 a.m. for the report of a large group of men who were fighting near Hamilton and Helmcken streets.

During the fight, at least four people were stabbed. All four were taken to hospital for treatment, including one man who remains in serious condition on Sunday around 10 a.m.

Helmcken remains closed between Homer and Mainland streets, while Mainland and Hamilton are both closed between Nelson and Davie streets as police investigate the scene.
