The B.C. Coroners Service is hoping someone can identify a man found dead last month near Moberly Lake.

The man was found Nov. 1 in a farmer’s field in the 1100-block of Boucher Lake Road, about 10 kilometres from Moberly Lake. RCMP investigators say the death isn’t considered suspicious and that the man likely died earlier this year.

The man is described as an adult possibly under 40 years of age and about 5-foot-11. The man was clothed in a camouflage-style shirt, True Religion-branded jeans and Size 11 Nike Air Max running shoes.

While police haven’t released any sketches of the man, they have shared photos of the man’s shoes, in hopes someone may recognize the footwear.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Fort St. John RCMP at 250-787-8140 or the coroners’ service at 1-877 660-5077.
