BSP holds Financial Inclusion Forum for the Labor Sector

TO foster financial inclusion of workers and to effectively monitor proper payment of wages, Labor Undersecretary Claro Arellano encourages the electronic payment of salaries through formal accounts to enable easier verification and validation during the Financial Inclusion Forum for the Labor Sector at the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) in Malate, Manila. The activity is a joint undertaking of the labor department and the BSP as part of the National Strategy for Financial Inclusion.
