Vancouver weather: Rainfall warning to end the year

VANCOUVER, B.C.: Dec. 31, 2019 – Tuesday’s weather will be wet. Very wet.
A rainfall warning is in effect for Metro Vancouver on New Year’s Eve, with up to 60 millimetres of rain expected in some parts. Beware of flooding in low-lying areas and washouts near rivers and creeks.
The rainfall warning applies to Metro Vancouver, including Burnaby and New Westminster, the North Shore, Coquitlam and Maple Ridge.
Today: Rain at times heavy, up to 40 millimetres possible. Temperatures steady around 8 degrees.
Tonight: Showers, temperatures steady near 8 degrees.
Tomorrow: Cloudy with 60 per cent chance of showers. Temperatures steady near 8.
