Pedestrian dies in collision in Surrey

A 55-year-old man has died after he was struck by a vehicle in Surrey Wednesday.
Surrey RCMP say shortly after 7 a.m., officers responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the 2400-block of 188 Street.
Emergency Health Services crews arrived and tried to revive the man, but he died from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remained and cooperated with police.
Police continue to investigate.
