They say: A new mascara from the Rihanna-backed brand Fenty Beauty that promises to provide “buildable volume” and “eye-opening lift and curl.” The cruelty free formula boasts a “flat-to-fat brush” that grabs lashes big and small. Available in matte black.
We say: We’re a bit skeptical of a mascara that claims it can deliver “full-on lashes like never before” but, as our tester put it, “it delivers.” The formula is pretty regular, but it’s the brush that makes this mascara unique. The flat side allows for lashes to be pushed upward, almost like curling from underneath, while the fatter ends easily coat lashes for an lengthened look.

Yves Saint Laurent
Libre eau de parfum
They say: A new warm-floral “fragrance of freedom” from the French brand Yves Saint Laurent that boasts notes of French lavender, orange blossom from Morocco, vanilla from Madagascar and musk accord.
We say: Our tester found this fragrance had a strong, sweet scent at first spritz, but with a few wears she found she enjoyed the intensity of the elixir. This fragrance dried with strong vanilla and musky notes that wore surprisingly lightly throughout the day.
