What it is: A new lineup of lip crayons from Maybelline New York that promises to provide “long-lasting” lip colour that lasts up to eight hours.
The collection of twist-up crayons, which is available in 14 “vibrant matte” shades, is billed as being the company’s “first lipstick crayon with Lasting Ink technology” to glide onto lips, effortlessly.
The pencil-like designs feature a small sharpener in its end to sharpen the pencil tip for precise application.
What we say: Our tester, already a big fan of the company’s previous lip pencils and products, was excited to try this recent release. And she wasn’t disappointed.
Offering a bold colour payoff, a smooth feel, easy application, as well as a decent delivery on its promise of being long-wearing, these lip pencils rival pricier lip colour options.
The lineup of hues available in this release range from neutrals to bold ‘pop’ shades, meaning there’s a colour for pretty much ever preference.
Our tester was pleased with how well these went on and wore, even with slight re-application touch-ups throughout the day. These Maybelline New York lip colours offer very good payoff, especially given the comparatively affordable price.
