Naga cops kill drug suspect, seize P28,000 in meth
LEGAZPI CITY – A buy-bust operation in Naga City turned bloody after a drug suspect based in Dasmarinas City, Cavite province was killed on Tuesday (Feb. 25).
The Naga City police said Dirimpasan Unte, 51, a resident of Dasmariñas City, drew a .45 caliber pistol and fired at undercover policemen in Naga past noon.
Police fired back as expected, killing Unte. Authorities found two sachets of suspected shabu, or meth, on Unte worth at least P28,000.
Unte had been tagged as No. 1 target among drug suspects in the region of Calabarzon.
