Robredo to hold grand rally in Bohol Friday

Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo, and her running mate Sen. RObredo Kiko Pangilinan will hold a grand rally in Bohol on Friday, April 1.

TAGBILARAN CITY — Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo, and her running mate Sen. Robredo Kiko Pangilinan will hold a grand rally in Bohol on Friday, April 1.

The event dubbed as “Dilaab Bohol People’s Rally” will start at 3 p.m. at the old Tagbilaran Airport.

In a Facebook post, “BohoLeni Ko” reminded “kakampinks” to use the Barol Street (end of the runway) as the entrance and exit ways.

Supporters can come to the venue at 1 p.m. They are advised to take lunch and bring water bottles or eco bottles to stay hydrated.

There are slots for senior citizens and persons with disabilities on a “first come, first serve basis.”

Celebrities who will be joining the Bohol People’s rally are Agot Isidro, Ogie Diaz, Mama Loi, Red Ollero, Mela Habijan, Macoy Dubs, Elijah Canlas, Arman Ferrer, Kerwin King, Yeng Constantino, Gab Valenciano, Spongecola, Dicta License, and Ben&Ben.

Robredo visited Bohol several times after Typhoon Odette (international name: Rai) devastated the province on Dec. 16, 2021.

In 2016, Robredo got the highest votes for vice president in the elections. She garnered 273,589  votes while former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. got 79,729 votes.
