Sharlene San Pedro passes thesis defense, set to graduate from college

Sharlene San Pedro is elated to be one step closer to getting her college degree after she successfully defended her thesis.

The actress and “Goin’ Bulilit” alum showed herself during her virtual thesis defense on her Twitter page last Thursday, April 7. San Pedro can also be seen with the panelists during her defense.

“Thesis defended. Road to graduation na!” she said.

San Pedro’s study is about online bashing and purveyors of fake news about public figures. It is titled, “In the Limelight: A Phenomenological Study on the Social Media Bashing Experience to the Emotional Health of Selected Public Figures.”

San Pedro was congratulated by fans, as well as fellow actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith via Twitter yesterday, April 8.

“You are an inspiration! Congrats Sharlene!” Curtis-Smith told San Pedro.

San Pedro is an AB Psychology student at AMA University and Colleges. Back in 2019, she called for respondents for her thesis and earned praise from netizens for her “relevant” study.

Aside from “Goin’ Bulilit,” San Pedro also starred in various projects including the 2005 TV series “Mga Anghel na Walang Langit,” the teen sitcom “Luv U” and the 2007 TV remake of “Princess Sarah.”  /ra
