LOOK: Sharon Cuneta tears up after seeing SHINee’s Key at K-pop concert

Sharon Cuneta could not help but cry while fangirling over Key of the South Korean boy band SHINee, during the “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” concert yesterday, May 29.

The Megastar was emotional while doing a heart pose with her arms on top of her head, as seen on her daughter Frankie Pangilinan’s Twitter page, also yesterday.

“[Kim Ki-bum] ikaw lang ang nagpapaiyak [sa] mama ko [nang ganito],” Pangilinan said, referring to Key’s real name. (Kim Ki-bum, you are the only person who makes my mom cry like this.)

Cuneta reposted Pangilinan’s photo of her while agreeing with what her daughter said, as per Cuneta’s Instagram page, also yesterday.

“Nakakahiya man pero SHINee (this time si Key pa lang) ang nakakapagpaiyak sa akin ng ganito (This might be embarrassing but only SHINee, this time Key, can make me cry like this),” Cuneta stated. “I was so happy when I got to meet NCT 127, but I will cry buckets if all of SHINee comes. And possibly EXO too (especially DO).”

The actress attended the concert with her other kids Miel and Miguel as well, as seen in a separate post on Cuneta’s Instagram page. She and Miel can be seen holding a light stick while Frankie was holding a photo card.

“Flew home from Ilocos for this! Yes! With my babies!!!” Cuneta said.

The “Begin Again: KPOP Edition” marked the country’s first live K-pop concert since the pandemic started. Other South Korean groups who performed in the show were NCT DREAM, WEi and ALICE. JB
