While we have learned to create virtual networks in a COVID world, we know that there’s nothing like making a connection in person.

Even in today’s age of virtual networking, when you meet a potential employer or new contact in person, a stronger connection is made. That’s why attending events like our Career, Education and Settlement Immigrant Fair can make such a big difference in building a life in Canada.

Following a very successful Fair in Halifax in May, Canadian Immigrant is happy to announce our next three upcoming fairs. The fairs always offer free admission to attendees, but pre-registering is encouraged.

Toronto, June 23, Metro Toronto Convention Centre • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Winnipeg, July 8, Radisson Hotel Winnipeg Downtown • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Calgary, August 26, Telus Convention Centre • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vancouver, November 3, Vancouver Convention Centre • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to connecting you with diverse exhibitors, including employment services, education institutes and social service agencies, the free event offers newcomers plenty of opportunities to learn, network and even get hired. As always, our fairs offer the very popular Resumé Clinic where experienced employment counsellors critique resumés and provide free one-on-one advice.

The Canadian Immigrant team will continue to implement a process that follows government set out protocols and procedures set out by each respective venue to ensure the safety of our team, exhibitors, speakers and attendees.
