Pia Wurtzbach to release self-written ‘Queen of the Universe’ novel in September

Pia Wurtzbach announced that she would be releasing her own novel, “Queen of the Universe,” which will be available in the Philippines this coming September.

Wurtzbach shared a glimpse of her self-written book on her Instagram account on Sunday, July 30, which includes a peek on its first page.

“A novel by Pia Wurtzbach… that sounds good. Here’s a first look at the first page of my first book ‘Queen of the Universe,’” she said in the caption of her post., adding it is a novel of “love, truth, and beauty.”

Aside from the Philippines, the book will be released in different parts of the world in November of this year.

While details about the novel have yet to be disclosed, it will be published by ABS-CBN Books in the Philippines and Tuttle Publishing internationally, where the lattermost shared a glimpse of his hot pink cover on Instagram.

Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, Miss USA 2015 Olivia Jordan, Miss Canada 2016 Sieara Bearchell, former Miss Universe talent director Esther Swan, actress Iza Calzado and host Bianca Gonzalez expressed their excitement to get their hands on the novel, as seen in the comments of Wurtzbach’s post.

Wurtzbach’s announcement comes weeks after she hinted on her Instagram Story that she would be “launching a book,” as she pointed out that she wants to focus on “other things” in her career.

“I’m so grateful that even after all these years, people still consider me [and] invite me to pageants (in the PH and abroad). I will never forget my beginnings in pageantry, but it’s been [eight] years now since Miss Universe 2015 and I want to build my career. So, I’ve been focusing on other things now,” she said. EDV
