ESPN NBA insiders to preview new NBA season in Manila

MANILA — ESPN NBA insiders Brian Windhorst and Tim MacMahon are set to bring their expertise to Manila as they preview the 2026-27 NBA season during The Hoop Collective World Tour on October 5.

The duo will headline a special live recording of The Hoop Collective presented by Disney+, giving Filipino fans a chance to hear their insights on the league ahead of the new campaign.

The event is part of the platform’s “The Plus Side of Basketball” campaign and will also allow selected fans to interact with the two ESPN personalities.

Windhorst has covered the NBA since 2003 and joined ESPN in 2010, appearing on NBA Countdown, NBA Today, Get Up and First Take. He has hosted The Hoop Collective since 2014 and is the author of two New York Times best-selling books.

MacMahon has covered the NBA for ESPN since 2009, primarily for ESPN.com, while also appearing on NBA Today, Get Up and SportsCenter. He has been a regular on The Hoop Collective since 2017 and is the author of Wonder Boy: Luka Doncic and the Curse of Greatness.

The 2026-27 NBA season begins on Disney+ Philippines on October 22.
