Sigabo: Gloria, naghikayat ng pagbabago sa Ginintuang Lupa | Episode 76
After witnessing the courage and passion demonstrated by the residents in protecting Ginintuang Lupa from the goons who attacked them anew by helping Gabo (Coco Martin) and his friends in fighting them, Gloria (Julia Montes) tries to talk to their neighbors about the positive changes they can do to their community.
She does this after Gabo thanks everyone who showed up to gang up on those who attempted to take him down. She begins her quite lengthy speech by expressing her gratitude to everyone who exerted effort in protecting their community and, at the same time, calls on them to avoid getting into brawls and conflicts.
Gloria reminds them that there are other ways to show their love for Ginintuang Lupa, such as by keeping their surroundings clean and orderly. Aside from getting rid of things that they no longer need or that simply getting in their way, they can also practice waste segregation and recycling items that can still be put to good use. She also asks them to refrain from gossiping, prompting Aling Diday (Diana Opilac) to quip that many people feel called out—and admits that she’s definitely one of them.
She ends her piece by telling everyone that if they’re willing to give everything for Ginintuang Lupa, she hopes that they can also choose to live for it and do what they can to make it a better place. She urges them as well to begin cleaning the following day.
Ipe (Bassilyo) remarks in jest that Gloria can already run as barangay captain, prompting everyone to cheer for Gloria—except for Tekla (Sue Ramirez) who remains bitter against her rival in Gabo’s heart.
Gabo praises Gloria for everything she has said and thanks her for the genuine care and deep concern that she has shown not just to his family but to his neighbors as well—which only makes her love him even more. He then turns to the crowd in front of them and conveys how Gloria amazes him, as he has never expected her to love and care for all of them.
Thus, he appeals to everyone to keep everything that she has told them in their hearts and minds. He also believes that her advice can help make their community a better place and give their families a better quality of life. Gabo joins everyone in cheering for Gloria by raising her arm, with Tolits (Jerald Napoles) teasing them afterwards as the fake couple giddily faces each other.
