The Teacher Who Changed Your Life Deserves a Pint of Ice Cream
The best teachers give us more than lessons. They also give us the confidence to believe that we can become more than we think we are. This Teacher’s Month, Carmen’s Best has a sweeter way to say thank you: a pint of ice cream, with a little more meaning behind it.

October 5 is both National Teachers’ Day and World Teachers’ Day. It’s also the culmination of National Teachers’ Month in the Philippines, established by Presidential Proclamation No. 242 in 2011. Carmen’s Best’s Salted Caramel HOPE in a Pint lets you buy a pint for yourself and dedicate it to a teacher who made a difference, with proceeds supporting HOPE’s classroom-building efforts.
Salted Caramel HOPE in a Pint is a limited-edition take on its familiar Salted Caramel ice cream. The flavor is made with fresh milk and the brand’s homemade rich caramel, combining the buttery sweetness of caramel with enough salt to keep things from becoming cloying. The regular Salted Caramel comes in a 440ml pint.
Generation HOPE is an initiative launched by HOPE in partnership with the Department of Education and several Filipino brands to help address the country’s shortage of public-school classrooms. A portion of proceeds from participating Carmen’s Best HOPE products goes toward building classrooms.

Founded by Nanette Medved-Po in 2012, HOPE has built 144 classrooms benefiting more than 52,000 students, according to DepEd. Its classrooms are designed to be safe, comfortable learning spaces, complete with essentials such as ventilation, fans, a teacher’s table and a restroom.
The Salted Caramel HOPE in a Pint is available at Carmen’s Best stores nationwide. From October 1 to November 30, 2026, teachers who present a valid PRC Teacher’s ID get two Loyalty Passport stamps. Collect 10 stamps and get a free pint.
