Villar-led AllDay Supermarket, AllHome close several stores

MANILA — The Villar-led AllDay Supermarket and home improvement store AllHome have closed several stores in 2026.

In a regulatory filing, AllDay said its store count has dropped to 13 as of September 29, down from 26 stores at the end of 2025.

Likewise, AllHome said it now has only 34 stores, down from 47 at the end of last year.

Both companies said they closed stores to improve long-term profitability and make operations more cost-efficient.

“Store operations have been realigned based on sales…customer traffic, and operational requirements, allowing the company to right-size manpower and reduce excess costs while maintaining service quality and operational effectiveness,” the companies said.

AllDay said it is looking to adopt smaller mini-mart formats to enhance operational efficiency and better serve its target market.

AllHome also said it is looking at store resizing or reformatting “to improve store-level economics.”

Last month, the Villar-led property giant Vista Land & Lifescapes confirmed it is evaluating the sale of two “non-core shopping malls” for up to P15 billion as it prepares to cover a major debt repayment next year.
