Alamat looks to represent hometowns in solo performances in November concert

MANILA — P-pop group Alamat is set to pay tribute to their hometowns during their solo performances in their “ALX (ALAMAT: The Legendary Experience),” on Nov. 8 at the New Frontier Theater.

“We were tapped directly na pag-isipan kung ano gusto namin gawin, lalo na sa solo stages namin. We really wanted to represent where we came from through the whole concert. Biggest contribution namin is dadalhin namin hometown namin on stage,” Jao said in the press conference held in Pasig City on Wednesday.

The members said they are grateful to have creative freedom in shaping their performances while working with their directors to turn their ideas into a cohesive show.

“Thankful kami kina Direk. Ang lagi ginagawa is tanong sila nang tanong ano gusto namin. May freedom kami, tapos sila nagko-compress para mas maganda yung kinalalabasan,” Alas explained.

ALX (ALAMAT: The Legendary Experience) is set as a milestone concert that fuses the group’s journey into the rich history of the Philippines.
