Julia Barretto meets Formula One star Charles Leclerc
Julia Barretto just met Formula One driver Charles Leclerc.
The actress shared a photo with Charles on her Instagram page after meeting him at an event hosted by a sportswear brand at its flagship store in Singapore.
Fans online were quick to react to the post.
“OMGGGGGG!!! Ikaw na, Juls,” one fan commented.
“SOBRANG LUCKY!” another fan wrote.
Charles is a Monégasque Formula One driver currently racing for Ferrari. He finished runner-up in the 2022 Formula One World Drivers’ Championship and has secured nine Grand Prix victories over the course of his F1 career.
Meanwhile, Julia is currently starring in the Star Cinema movie Always Yours, Never Mine.
The movie follows two people that “across thirty years and different versions of themselves, keep finding each other at the edges of their lives. Yet every reunion arrives with a choice, and every choice leads them toward one life while taking them farther from another,” according to its official synopsis.
In a recent interview with ABS-CBN News, Julia shared that she and co-star Joshua Garcia have been receiving messages from moviegoers who watched the film during its first few days in cinemas.
“We’ve been having a really great time. We’re so grateful. Ang dami naming natatanggap na messages from people who’ve been watching since the start. So we’re just overflowing with gratitude,” she stated.
Back in July, Julia also opened up about entering a new chapter in her career as an independently managed actress starting with the 2026 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Haunted Carnival.
“It’s a good time in my life to be able to explore and work with everyone kasi lahat may magandang istorya, and gusto ko ma-grab opportunity na ‘yun kapag naisip nila ako para sa proyekto,” she said in an interview at the media conference of the movie.
“Huwag natin gamitin iyung word na [freelancer] ‘yun. Gamitin natin na open to opportunities,” she added.
Also part of the cast of Haunted Carnival are John Arcilla, James Reid, Fyang Smith, Joaquin Arce, Celyn David, and Charlie Fleming.
