Bvlgari’s Spring/Summer 2027 Collection Puts a Jewelry State of Mind Into Leather Goods
Bvlgari approaches Spring/Summer 2027 with a distinctly jewelry-minded take on leather goods. The collection plays with the Maison’s signatures, from the Serpenti’s unmistakable snakehead to the sculptural lines of Tubogas, translating them into bags designed with strong silhouettes, precious materials and flashes of color.

Leading the new arrivals is the Serpenti 1968, a structured bag inspired by the legendary Serpenti jewelry-watch of the same year. The design traces back to a creation first imagined by Mary Katrantzou during her inaugural collaboration with Bvlgari in 2021, before she became the Maison’s Creative Director for Leather Goods and Accessories. Its sculptural metallic handle follows the movement of a serpent, while the signature snakehead closure gives the bag its unmistakable Bvlgari character. The handle can also be replaced with a chunky Cobra chain, shifting the silhouette from polished top handle to statement shoulder bag.

The Serpenti story continues with the Serpenti Cuore, a heart-shaped silhouette drawn from Bvlgari’s jewelry archives. Its hand-enameled serpent handle brings a vivid jewelry-like finish to the bag, with new seasonal color combinations pairing rich calf leather with vibrant enamel. For evening, the miniature Serpenti Cuoricino arrives in Chalcedony Blue, with a crystal-covered version following later in the season.

The Serpenti Forever family gets new proportions for the season, including a sharper Medium Top Handle and an elongated Medium Shoulder Bag. The collection also introduces precious Pure Karung leather to select Serpenti Forever styles, highlighting the natural texture and sheen of the material.

Elsewhere, the Tubogas Sphere brings one of Bvlgari’s most recognizable jewelry techniques to the handbag world. Its gold-finish brass handle is punctuated by sculptural spherical details with translucent enamel and crystal pavé, set against rich Almandine Garnet calf leather.

For evening, craftsmanship becomes the main attraction. Galaxy Crystals turns the Serpenti Forever Mini Top Handle into a constellation of more than 15,000 crystals in 28 colors, while Lotus Garden Embroidery covers select bags in intricate botanical motifs built from threads, raffia, crystals and pearls.
The season’s most distinctive statement comes from the return of the Melone clutch, a Bvlgari archival design originally conceived in the 1970s. Inspired by the rounded form of a melon, the clutch has a sculptural, fluted silhouette that sits somewhere between an evening bag and a piece of jewelry.

For the new season, Melone is reimagined in pleated gold-finish aluminum, giving its rounded body a fluid, light-catching surface. A cabochon-inspired closure with a white mother-of-pearl insert adds a jewelry-like focal point, while the interior opens into two symmetrical compartments lined in supple nappa leather.

The details continue with interchangeable silk tassels in black and ivory, alongside 12 additional colors available for personalization. Set to be available from October 2026, the Melone is one of the collection’s strongest expressions of Bvlgari’s approach to accessories: sculptural, collectible and unmistakably rooted in the language of jewelry.
