“Malaki ‘yung font niya sa phone!” Brent, Ralph, River, and Emilio spill fun facts about Vice Ganda
Vice Ganda can match anyone’s vibe, and that means she can gel even with Gen Z stars. On “It’s Showtime,” she’d often joke about finding new barkada among today’s young artists, including “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” boys Brent Manalo, Ralph De Leon, River Joseph, and Emilio Daez, and that she likes how their free-spirited and fun energy matches hers.
So, let’s take a peek at their fun friendship as the “PBB Collab” hotties, who recently guested on “Gandang Gabi Vice,” share their favorite moments with Meme Vice and what they discovered about her.
Brent’s favorite Meme-mories are both the deep talks and chaos. Off-cam, he treasures the meaningful conversations he’s had with Vice about life, while on-cam, his “GGV” experience with Ralph, River, and Emilio is his top pick as it brought out their more playful and unfiltered sides.
Meanwhile, Ralph’s favorite thing about Vice is that she’s always game and easy to be around, especially at parties. And though they only got to know each other recently, he said Vice makes them feel heard, which he truly appreciates.
River’s core Meme-mory was their “Call Me Mother” promo era. Mall shows could get exhausting, but they enjoyed every minute and turned them into bonding moments, especially whenever Vice would invite the group out to eat afterward. Well, what better way to get closer than through good food and even better kwentuhan?
For Emilio, his ultimate Meme-mory is getting to work with Vice on “It’s Showtime,” where he often appears as a judge on “Miss Q and A.” But he’s not done collecting moments with her just yet, because starring in a movie with her is still on his bucket list.
The four also dropped funny revelations when asked to share one fun fact about her. Brent exposed that Vice uses a very large font on her phone because of her blurry eyesight.
Ralph, meanwhile, disclosed a more serious observation about her, “Nobody loves their work as much as Vice Ganda,” he said, adding that she takes real pride in everything she does. “In everything na pasukin niya, kailangan talaga top-notch.” Emilio couldn’t agree more, saying he sees that same level of dedication as he and Vice work together on “It’s Showtime.”
And then River confirmed that Vice’s schedule is insane, “Parang hindi siya natutulog, parang hindi siya nagpapahinga.”
In the name of fun, the boys were asked to come up with their own questions for Vice. Give Brent one shot at interviewing Meme and he’s going straight for the tea. He’d ask whether she’s ever had a showbiz ‘jowa.’
Ralph went into serious mode again, saying he’d want to know where Vice gets all her energy from, “Alam nating tao lang din naman si Meme, pero at the same time, she really finds the passion and the drive to keep going.”
Since River has already noticed how packed Vice’s schedule usually is, he’d want to know what Vice does on those rare moments when she’s at home and alone. And if given the chance, Emilio would ask Meme for the secret behind her witty punchlines.
