The following day, Gabo (Coco Martin) is clearly in high spirits as he prepares to leave to go job hunting. As his friends compliment his impressive new look, he proudly reveals that it was his “wife,” Gloria (Julia Montes), who picked out the clothes he is wearing.

However, Gabo is not only him whose surprising transformation catches everyone’s attention. His stepmother, Betchay (Irma Adlawan), arrives home looking and behaving so differently. Instead of hurling insults at him, she commends his appearance and wishes him good luck. Despite Gloria’s initial hesitation, Gabo eventually manages to convince her to give in to their persistent demand, asking her to give him a peck at least on the cheek. However, Gabo’s playful side takes over, and he manages to steal a kiss on the lips from Gloria just as she leans toward him. Gloria can’t help but blush from shock and embarrassment, while Gabo and everyone around them are delighted—except for Tekla (Sue Ramirez), who is deeply hurt by what she has just witnessed.
