The Economy Super Saver fare is a cheaper fare for tourists who prefer to travel light–usually those who go on short trips where checked baggage may not be necessary.
PAL said travelers can now book roundtrip fares to Seoul and Busan starting at $130. The fare still includes complimentary inflight meals and beverages and other onboard amenities.
Passengers may book their flights through PAL’s website, mobile app, hotline, and ticket offices, or through accredited travel agents.
“South Korea remains one of PAL’s key international markets, attracting a diverse mix of leisure travelers, overseas Filipinos, students, and business passengers,” the flag carrier said in a statement.
The Economy Super Saver fare was first introduced on flights across Southeast Asia, Greater China, Hong Kong, Taipei, Japan except Sapporo, and Australia.
Last month, PAL said it would launch nonstop services from Manila to Delhi and Mumbai in December.
