Sandara Park grateful for Pinoy fans who continue to support her and her shows around the world
Sandara Park was touched by how Filipino fans continue to support her and show up for her performances and events around the world.
The South Korean star recently expressed her gratitude after learning that some fans had traveled to Kaohsiung, Taiwan, to watch her perform at the Kaohsiung Park Music Festival on October 10.
In a post on X, Sandara shared her excitement after arriving in Taiwan and discovering that her fans had made the trip to see her show.
“So! There are Daralings and Blackjacks who flew to Kaohsiung to watch my show tomorrow? 🥹🧡 super touched!!!” she wrote. “You won’t regret coming here🙏🏻 Thank you so much and I will keep improving🙏🏻 pls take some time to explore Kaohsiung, eat a lot! And let’s have fun tomorrow!!! Love you💙”
But it was not just the fans who traveled to Taiwan for her performance who caught Sandara’s attention, but also the Filipinos that had greeted her at the airport.
As seen in videos shared online, Filipino fans cheered and waved at her, with them calling her “Ate Dara” as she happily waved back.

These encounters reminded Sandara of how Filipino audiences have continued to support her, even when she performs far from home.
“Kasi lately, di ko na-expect pero laging may Pinoy sa shows ko. Pati sa Korean festival sa Incheon, meron din sa Chungju [Park Music Festival] and many other places,” she said.
“So nagulat ako and happy!!! So isipin ko nalang, kahit san ako pupunta, at least may isang Pinoy who will be there to cheer for me🥹🧡🙏🏻,” she added.
For Sandara, Filipino fans bring a familiar kind of energy to her shows. When a fan pointed out how Filipinos help make the crowd lively, she agreed, saying, “Exactly!!! 😁 dyan ako sanay eh! Yung happy energy ng mga Pinoy!!! 🧡”
Her posts drew affectionate responses from fans who assured her that their support would remain, no matter where her career takes her.
“Always. ❤️ Asahan mo yan. Kahit magpahinga ka din nang matagal, andito kami to support!” one fan wrote.
“Yes!!! Ikaw ang nag iisang Pambansang Krung Krung ng Pilipinas @krungy21 🥰😍 Lagi kami susuporta sayo kahit saan ka mang panig ng mundo 🫰🏻😍,” another commented.
“We will ALWAYS cheer for you, support you wherever you are. Mahal na mahal ka namin, Sandara ❤️,” another fan added.
“Kahit saang sulok ng mundo may mga Pinoy. Mas mahal ka namin Atii! Thank you for always loving ang choosing Philippines,” one more wrote.
For many Filipinos, supporting Sandara goes back to her beginnings in the Philippines, when she first rose to fame as a contestant on Star Circle Quest in 2004.
Her charming personality and memorable performances quickly won over viewers, with her hit song “In or Out” becoming one of the defining tunes of her early career in the country.
More than two decades later, that connection has endured. Even as Sandara built her career in South Korea as a member of 2NE1 and continued her work as a solo artist and entertainer, Filipino fans have remained part of her journey.
Earlier this month, Sandara also reflected on her 22 years in the entertainment industry, opening about the demands of maintaining an active schedule and wondering how long she could continue working at the same pace.
“I’ve been working almost nonstop for 22 years since my debut in the Philippines, you know. Of course, during trainee days, it wasn’t ‘work’ per se, but I was so swamped with practice,” she wrote.
She admitted that thoughts about her stamina and getting older had recently crossed her mind, although she remains happy to be doing what she loves.
“Sure, my physical condition’s been lousy since I was 20, lol, but I’m hanging in there 😁 A bit sleepy, a bit tired, but happy right now. Tossing out some sentimental stuff in broad daylight 🤤😮💨 Hope everyone has a great day! 🥰”
Fans responded with messages of encouragement, expressing pride in her long career and promising to continue supporting her for as long as she chooses to perform.
